Up for sale is the Superman VS Doomsday bookend set produced by DC Comics back in 1996.  It was displayed for a while in a smoke free home, but has been cleaned of all dust and is in excellent condition.  The box has some minor wear but overall is in great condition for being over 20 years old.  This bookend set is #642 out of 2030 pieces.  Shipping includes tracking and bidders only please.  NO international shipping.

you are putting the cart before the horse. do some homework first. It is expensive to get customized molds made. You can find mold makers in the yellow pages or on line. Be aware that commercial mold makers are not going to spend any time making a couple of molds for you... so you should have several models for them to make molds from and a good budget for doing it. How you make your piece will affect how costly it is to get a mold made. If there are lots of undercuts, it may be more expensive for the mold to be made. Also, a mold can only be used for so many casts, then has to be remade. It does not last indefinitely... Have you ever made a mold yourself? go to the library and look at books in the art section on how to make molds. there are several ways. You could make your own to start, then when you get going, and have some capital, pay someone professional to do it. first, what are you making your figurines out of currently? Are you buying the "greenware" at ceramics craft shops then finishing them?? how long does it take you to finish one, and approximately how much money are you putting into the way you make ONE now? Are you wanting to reproduce the ones you are making now or do you do something totally and completely original? what luck are you having selling them for currently? what markets? can this market be increased? have you looked around at different gift shops, hobby stores, dollar stores to see what your competition is doing? have you priced them? are there pieces similar to what you want to do being mass produced (say in China) and being sold cheaply? do y ou really want to try to compete with that market? If you are making originals by carving or with fired clay, make your own casts several times with your own molds. This will give you a better idea of whether you wish to go on and create a lot of the same thing and hope nobody else in China or Mexico steals your design and mass produces it... just because you have a trademark in the US does not mean you can keep someone from doing knockoffs... think about these things before you move forward and study it for several angles. Your valuable artistry may be better used making originals and selling them as fine art (i.e. only a few in the edition) good luck.
